The 9th South China Expo: A Platform for Regional Unity
From June 19-24, 2025, the 9th China-South Asia Expo (CSAE) and 29th Kunming Import and Export Fair (CKF) convened at Kunming’s Dianchi International Convention Center. Themed “Solidarity and Cooperation for Common Development”, it drew over 2,500 enterprises from 73 countries, achieving full South/Southeast Asia coverage.
Innovative “Comprehensive Exhibition, Specialized Operation” Model
Featuring 16 halls like Manufacturing, Green Energy, Coffee, and TCM – 70% specialized for better matchmaking. Highlights included the 800-booth Double South Asia Hall, Southeast Asia Hall, and Overseas Hall, boosting regional ties.

In Hall 4, Guizhou highlighted baijiu, tea, sour soup, and chili peppers via displays, negotiations, and tastings. Lvyin Food promoted its probiotic sour soup base, targeting South/Southeast Asia markets to deepen Belt and Road cooperation.
This platform allows Guizhou enterprises like Lvyin Food to connect with international buyers, fostering exports of ethnic specialties.

Activities like the South Asia Commodity (Tea) Festival, International Procurement Conference, and Research-Industry-University Seminar enhanced multi-field exchanges. These drove regional integration and Belt and Road vitality.
